Reason:
During recovery of volume vvvvv1, data set (ddd) was found to be catalogued to volume vvvvv2. The Recover command has the Scratch parameter specified. Because the data set is cataloged to a volume different from the one to which it is being recovered, it will not be recovered.
The system parameter DSNDUPVL controls the processing described above. If this sysparm is specified with a value of N (the default), the above condition can occur. If the sysparm is specified with a value of Y, the data set will be restored or recovered to the volume specified and scratched from the cataloged volume.
