CLUSTER NAME CANNOT BE DETERMINED FOR VSAM COMPONENT (ddd) ON VOLUME (vvv)

Reason:

CADisk bypassed processing for VSAM component (ddd) on volume (vvv) because CADisk cannot determine the cluster name for that component.

This informational message is issued only under SCAN REALVOLS. This message is not issued when the only action command under SCAN REALVOLS is REPORT COMPONENTS. Also, it is not issued under SCAN CATALOGS=, FIND.

This message may occur for several reasons and the messages preceding it may help you to determine the reason that the message was issued. The reason for the message may depend on the environment:

• In both single- and multi-CPU environments, the component may be cataloged in a catalog that resides on a volume that is off-line to your system.
• In a multi-CPU environment, the component may not be correctly cataloged on your system (although the component can be correctly cataloged on other systems).
• In a single-CPU environment, this VSAM component may have been orphaned.

Action:

To correct the cause of the message, run the job again on the correct system, or delete the orphaned VSAM component, or ignore this message. If you do not want to receive this message, specify sysparm DSCLMSGS with a value of N.
