TAPE MARK DETECTED AFTER (nn) BLOCKS READ

Reason:

When using the Archive Tape Recovery Utility, a tape mark was encountered. If a data set is being transferred to the output tape, the utility checks to see if the data set is complete. If so, the data set is kept on the output tape. If not, message 3284 is issued and the data set is bypassed.

If this is the second tape mark in a row (that is, end of volume), processing will halt if the parameter EOFSTOP was specified.
