SUPERLOCATE WORK AREA SIZE (xxx) TOO SMALL; NEED SIZE (yyy) or MASTER CATALOG ALIAS WORK AREA SIZE (xxx) TOO SMALL; NEED SIZE (yyy)

Reason:

CADisk will not create a work area for Catalog Management of a larger size than that specified by CADisk sysparm CATLOCWA.

According to Catalog Management, if the first version of the message is produced, a work area of this size will not be large enough to contain the catalog entries based on the CADisk FIND command. The second version of the message indicates that the work area was not large enough to contain the ALIAS pointers for a catalog during Catalog Backup.

Increase the value of sysparm CATLOCWA to a 7-digit number at least as great as (yyy). If increasing the value of sysparm CATLOCWA cause GETMAIN or region messages or an SA08 abend, reduce the value of sysparm CATLOCWA. In this case, CADisk will not be able to process your FIND command.

If you specified a CADisk pattern name in your FIND command (such as DSN=ABC.DEF/), specify one more complete qualifier in the data set name (such as DSN=ABC.DEF./ or DSN=ABC.DEF.G/). If you cannot specify a more complete name, you must use alternatives to the FIND command.
