THE FOLLOWING DATA SET REQUIRED MORE THAN THE VOLUME OUTPUT LIMIT. IT WAS BYPASSED. —- DSN=(ddd)

Reason:

Space predictions indicated data set (ddd) requires more than the maximum number of output tapes supported by CADisk. For MVS systems this number is 255; for non-MVS systems it is 5. The data set is skipped and processing continues for the next data set.

Action:

Verify that the data set is indeed that large, and take appropriate Action's to back it up by other means. Setting sysparms TAPEFEET or CARTFEET to unusually low values may also cause the volume limit to be reached unexpectedly.
