RECORD SIZE LONGER THAN SYSPARM IOMAXREC ALLOWS. RECORD SIZE = (nnn)

Reason:

Your installation has set a maximum allowable record size for CADisk processing by specifying sysparm IOMAXREC. CADisk issues this message at two different times: during backup processing or when running the Archive Tape Analysis Utility.

During backup processing, CADisk has encountered a data set that is greater than the maximum allowed by IOMAXREC. CADisk bypassed the data set, which has a record size of (nnn). The data set name is listed in an accompanying message.

Action:

To back up this data set, specify sysparm IOMAXREC with a value of (nnn) or higher, and run the backup job again.

During Archive Tape Analysis, CADisk has encountered an archive record block with an LRECL greater than the maximum allowed by the current IOMAXREC value. The LRECL of this archive record block was set when it was archived according to a lesser IOMAXREC value then in use. This message is followed by a user 100 abend.

Action:

Specify sysparm IOMAXREC with a value of (nnn) or higher and run the job again.
