ALTERNATE INDEX NAME SPECIFIED DOES NOT EXIST FOR THE INDICATED CLUSTER - AIX NOT RESTORED. AIX NAME = (aaa) BASE CLUSTER = (ccc)
Reason:
The alternate index name (aaa) was not associated with the base cluster (ccc) when the data set was archived by CADisk. This message can be issued for any of the following reasons:
- The alternate index name is misspelled.
- A new name is being specified in the AIXNAME= parameter instead of the name which was actually given the alternate index when it was archived.
- The base cluster was archived prior to the alternate index being defined for it. CADisk has no knowledge of the alternate index.
- The cluster was archived with a version of CADisk prior to Release 6.5.
- The incorrect version of the data set is being used from the Files Data Set.
