BUFFERSPACE HAS CHANGED FROM (nnn) TO (ooo) FOR DSN=(ddd), VOL=(vvv)
Reason:
While restoring VSAM data set (ddd) to volume (vvv), CADisk detected a change in the bufferspace allocation between the value found on the CADisk archive tape (nnn) and the new value specified in the VSAM DEFINE (ooo). This can be caused by two conditions:
- Sysparm VSATTRIB was set on, causing CADisk to allow Access Method Services to calculate the bufferspace. The newly calculated value differed from the original. This may be because the user specified the original value, or because the data set is being restored to an unlike device type.
- The VSATTREX user exit was active and changed the value explicitly.
This is an informational message only. The user requires no action.
