Reason:
This message, from the PDS Compress function of CADisk, is issued for each PDS compressed. It indicates that the data for the PDS has been copied to the intermediate work file and that processing to reload the data is now starting. From this point until message 0240 is issued for the data set, the data set is in an incomplete status. If the job should abend before message 0240 is issued, the PDS is not completely reloaded, and the RELOAD function of PDS compress must be used to restart the data reloading process.
Message 0240 indicates successful compression of the data set. Message 2462 is issued before message 0240. It provides information needed should the RELOAD function be necessary. Review the message description for message 2462 for more information.
