Create A New Slot for the Certificates

To create a new slot for the certificates

1. Open a command window on the directory host and enter the following command:

   ctconf -c1
   

   This command requests the administrator's PIN.

2. Enter the PIN.

   In this example, set the PIN to 1000 on the test HSM.

   Once the administrator's pin is entered, the new slot will be created.
