set password-history Command

The set password-history command sets the maximum number of entries to retain in the history. This prevents the user from re-using these passwords.

CA Directory uses the operational attribute dxPwdHistory to maintain the password history.

This command has the following format:

set password-history = number-passwords | 0;

• number-passwords

  Specifies the maximum number of passwords to retain in the history.

• 0

  (Default) Disables this feature.
