Setting Up Static Directory Roles

To use static roles, you need to do the following:

1. Set up static groups:
   1. Enable static groups.
   2. Create a static group.
   3. Add members to the static group entry.
2. Enable static roles.

   You can then do one or both of the following:

   • Create access control rules for the new role.
   • Set other configuration items for the new role.
