Monitoring with the DSA Console

You can use the DSA console to check the operational parameters and DSA usage with management commands.

Follow these steps:

1. Use Telnet to connect to the DSA that you want to monitor.
2. Use the following commands to do these tasks:
   • View the number and type of operations performed by the DSA:

     get stats;
     

   • View current communication settings on a DSA:

     get stack;
     

   • View current DSP connections to other DSAs:

     get online-dsas;
     

   • View current user connections to the DSA:

     get users;
     

   • View the names of the currently enabled log files:

     get log;
     

   • View the current state of replication and recovery of peer DSAs:

     get dsp;
