Failback

Failback is the restoration to normal service of a CA Directory DSA after failing over and recovering.

When a subordinate DSA becomes unavailable, the router redirects all the requests targeted for that DSA to another DSA servicing the same prefix (failover). When the unavailable DSA becomes available again, then CA Directory automatically sends the requests to the DSA (failback).
