DXnewdb Tool—Create a New Datastore

The DXnewdb tool creates a new datastore.

If the DSA is running or if a datastore already exists for the DSA, DXnewdb will exit immediately.

The size of the datastore is set in the configuration file.

This command has the following format:

dxnewdb DSA-name
