Install the Directory Management Package Using a Command
The dxwebsetup command lets you install the Directory Management package.
To install the Directory Management package using a command
- Log in as root.
- Insert the CA Directory installation CD (if required).
- Open a command prompt.
- Change to the following directory:
CD-ROM/dxwebserver/install
- Run the dxwebsetup command, with the options described in dxwebsetup Command—Install the Directory Management Package.
dxwebsetup Command—Install the Directory Management Package
Use the dxwebsetup command to install the Directory Management components, as follows:
./dxwebsetup.sh [-r source-directory] [-dxuser username] [-silent]
- -r source-directory
-
Run dxwebsetup from a location other than the current directory.
- -dxuser username
-
Allows a username other than the default, which is dsa.
- -silent
-
Installs the web components silently (no prompts are given to the user).
