Standard Network Status

The Standard Network Status page displays the following messages to indicate the current server status:

Waiting for connection

Indicates that the server has not detected any client requesting a connection. You are asked to run CA DMM on the destination system.

A destination system has been found

Indicates that a CA DMM client has broadcast on the network and was detected by the CA DMM server.

Note: Both source and destination systems must be running the same version of CA DMM; otherwise, you will receive an error message.

Connected to system

Indicates that a CA DMM client has successfully connected to the CA DMM server.

The following options appear on the page:

Source System Name

Displays the computer name of the source system.

Source IP

Displays the IP address of the source system.

Note: The IP addresses displayed in the Source IP drop-down list are only for the purpose of displaying the list of IPs on the source. Therefore, manually changing the IP address in the drop-down list does not cause CA DMM to accept connections on the new IP address.

Exit

Closes CA DMM on the source system.
