Select User Mapping Template

You can decide whether you want to specify the information that is related to the following instances:

• Mapping of users from the old domain to the new domain.
• Similar mapping for computer accounts.
• The domain-specific application configuration information manually or you want to use the MA Config file.

By using the MA Config file, you can do the mapping and can provide the file to the multiple migrations. CA Merger and Acquisition Tool takes only those users from the configuration file present on the computer, and maps them based on the information that is provided in the configuration file.

Note: You must create the MA Config file by using DMM Template Editor. For more information about how to create the MA Config file, see the DMM Template Editor Help.

Follow these steps:

1. Select the Select a MA Template File check box.

   The MA Template File field is enabled.

2. Enter the path for the MA Config file in the MA Template File field, or click Browse to navigate to the file.

   Note: To specify the settings manually, click Next.

3. Click Next.
