Set Event Log Level
The Event Log level lets you specify the level of detail you want to capture in the event log. To optimize the performance, ensure that the log level is set to Error.
Follow these steps:
CA DMM user interface
- Click Options, Logs.
- Select Errors from the Level drop-down list available under the Event Log area.
- Click OK.
Options File
- Open the DMM Options Editor from the Start menu.
- Click File, and then the File Open toolbar button.
- Browse to the folder where CA DMM is installed and select the DDNAOptions.dox file.
Note: If you have not run the DesktopDNA.exe, click File and then New to create the file.
- Click Logging, Event Log in the left pane of the DMM Options Editor.
All the Event Log options appear in the right pane of the DMM Options Editor.
- Locate the Event log level option.
The valid values are Error, Warning, and Information. CA DMM defaults to Error.
- Check the Error option.
- Save the DDNAOptions.dox file.
The Event Log level is set to Error.
