Turn Off Debug Log
The Debug Log option allows you to specify whether you want to create a debug log when a DNA file is applied to a destination computer. However, to optimize the performance, ensure that this option is not selected.
Follow these steps:
CA DMM user interface
- Click Options, Logs.
- Click Advanced.
- Ensure that the Debug log group check box is not selected which disables the creation of a debug log file.
- Click OK.
Options File
- Open the DMM Options Editor from the Start menu.
- Click File and then the File Open toolbar button.
- Browse to the folder where CA DMM is installed and select the DDNAOptions.dox file.
Note: If you have not run the DesktopDNA.exe, click File and then New to create the file.
- Click Logging, Debug Log in the left pane of the DMM Options Editor.
All the Debug Log options appear in the right pane of the DMM Options Editor.
- Uncheck the Create Debug Log option.
- Save the DDNAOptions.dox file.
Creation of the Debug log file is disabled.
