Add a Local User

If you want to migrate a local user profile that does not exist in the Users Selection tab, you add the user.

Note: Ensure that you have full administrator rights to migrate multiple users in Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows 7.

Follow these steps:

  1. Click Settings, Users.
  2. Expand the All local user profiles on source computer tree item.

All the local user profiles in the computer (which runs the DMM Template Editor) are listed.

  3. Click Add User.
  4. Edit the user name and press the Enter key.
  5. (Optional) Click Passwords.

Important! If you migrate user profiles that are associated with local accounts, ensure that the user has local administrative privileges. Administrative right lets a user create accounts on the local computer during migration.
