The Migration Toolkit is included with CA DMM. The toolkit can reduce the overhead and downtime that large scale migrations require. It contains the following tools:
Provides administrators with top-level command and control for large-scale enterprise migrations. The DMM Director wizard asks you questions to automate your migration process and then creates the necessary elements for migration. DMM Director customizes an automation process for your environment.
Saves time and increases control over your migration process by creating custom templates for any user, department, or organization. DMM Template Editor lets you customize migration regardless of the end user's environment.
Lets you create scripts for any in-house proprietary applications. DMM Studio increases your ability to meet the migration needs of your applications.
Lets you examine the contents of DNA files, and apply individual DNA files or the settings in a DNA file. Administrators can streamline, analyze, reference, troubleshoot, catalog, and fine-tune the automation process.
Helps simplify the configuration, customization, and management of the DMM Options and Director Migration Options that control how CA DMM functions in your environment. This tool provides administrators easy editorial access to the CA DMM options.
Lets you schedule regular storage of your PC's DNA to a file so that you can easily recover your DNA.
Lets you migrate domain information, user profiles, application settings, data, and other resources, as is. Your existing settings, data, and other resources remain unchanged, though a new user ID and computer name are created.
