Installation Options

The installation supports combinations of CA DMM and the Migration Toolkit.

You can perform three different types of installations:

Typical

The typical installation installs:

• CA DMM program files
• DMM Director program files
• DMM Always Current Scheduler
• Migration Toolkit:
  • DMM Template Editor
  • DMM Explorer
  • DMM Options Editor
  • DMM Studio
• DMM Deployment Setup
• Merger and Acquisition
• Web Update
• Scripts
• Bookshelf

Compact

The compact installation installs:

• CA DMM program files
• Scripts
• Web Update

Custom

The custom installation lets you choose to install any combination of components and where you want to install those components. The default for the custom installation is all the typical components mentioned previously.
