The Destination User Interface page displays if you select a deferred migration on the Migration Type page.
You can customize the actions a user can perform during a migration by customizing the CA DMM wizard interface. This can increase migration security and streamline migration processes for the end user.
The Enable user interface group box allows you to select the actions you want users to take during a migration.
To customize the user interface on the destination system
When checked, displays the Select Template page so that users can choose a template during the migration.
When checked, displays the Open a DNA File page to let users select the DNA file used in the migration.
When checked, displays the Select Users for Migration page to let users select other users to be included in the migration.
When checked, displays the Select System Settings page to let users select the system settings to be included in the migration.
When checked, displays the Select Applications page to let users select the application settings to be included in the migration.
When checked, displays the Select Files and Folders page to let users select the files and folders to be included in the migration.
When checked, displays the Select Filters page to let users create or use filters that set file and folder selection criteria to be included in the migration.
When checked, displays the Basic Destination page to let users select a basic destination for the migration.
When checked, displays the Advanced Destination page to let users select a destination for the migration.
When checked, displays the DNA File Validation page so that users can choose to let CA DMM validate the DNA file for any possible errors before applying the file.
When checked, displays the Migration Status page to let users see the progress of the migration.
When checked, displays the Log Results page to let users access the CA DMM migration logs at the end of the migration.
If you disable all of the pages of the user interface to perform a quiet migration, the CA DMM splash screen displays when the migration is initiated if a component is to be installed for CA DMM to run. The installation takes place, and the migration continues in quiet mode, with no user interface or splash screen displayed.
