Settings Description
The Adobe Photoshop script migrates the following:
- Import
- Automate
- Create Droplet
- Contact Sheet
- Multi-Page PDF to PSD
- Picture Package
- Web Photo Gallery
- Color Settings
- Preferences
- Purge and Windows settings
Migration Paths
The migration paths are as follows:
- From 4 to 4
- From 5 to 5
- From 5.5 to 5.5
- From 6 to 6
Limitations
Following are the limitations:
- The migration of some Adobe Online settings is not supported.
- If the resolution of the destination monitor differs from the source monitor, the toolbar location may not remain the same.
5.0 settings that do not migrate from Windows 2000 to Windows 2000 or Windows XP:
- Interpolation & Option, Painting Cursors, Columnsize/Width, Guides Color & Style and Memory & Image Cache.
4.01 settings that do not migrate from Windows 2000 or Windows XP:
- General, Display & Cursors, Transparency & Gamut, Units & Rules, Plug-Ins settings, and CMYK setup settings.
- When migrating the application, you need to reset the path to the Plug-in directory. Go to Edit, Preferences, Plug-Ins and check the box Additional Plug-ins.
