McAfee Security Center is an anti-virus application integrated with firewall and anti-spyware capabilities.

Settings Description

The McAfee Antivirus script migrates the following:

• The SecurityCenter Configuration option migrates the settings that include the overall security protection status and information alerts.
• The Computer and Files Configuration option migrates the general settings for protecting computer and files.
• The E-mail and IM Configuration option migrates the general settings for protecting e-mail and instant messaging.

Migration Paths

• From 7.0 to 7.0
• From 7.0 to 7.2
• From 7.2 to 7.2

Limitations

Following are the limitations:

• The migration of Personal Firewall settings cannot be supported.
• Cannot migrate the settings under the path Computer and Files Configuration, Spyware protection is enabled.
• Cannot support the migration of the Parental Control settings from 7.2 to 7.2.
