Active Directory Support

You can migrate users from NT domain systems to Active Directory as follows:

From NT domains to NT domains

Migrates users directly to the same user on the new system, or redirect them to different domains or user names.

From NT domains to Active Directory

Migrates users from NT domains to an Active Directory container by redirecting the user on the destination. If the user is not already a member of the target Active directory, an Active Directory account is created for the user as long as the computer is connected to the network. User profiles are migrated as local user profiles (not roaming profiles in this release).

From Active Directory to Active Directory

Migrates users from one Active Directory to another.

Note: The users belonging to NT Domains or Active Directory systems are displayed under the All network profiles on source machine tree item in the Users settings. When you expand an NT Domain branch, only users appear under the Domain name. If you expand an Active Directory branch, Active Directory containers display, with the users displayed beneath their container.
