Rules for Creating Job Names
Follow these rules when creating job names:
- The job name must contain 1 to 8 characters.
- The first character must be a letter or national character ($, #, @); subsequent characters can be digits.
- Do not use blanks or other special characters.
Note: A jobname is not the same as a job identifier, which is described later in this chapter.
