RAAT Long Keys

Before Version 14.0, CA Datacom limited the total key length to 180 bytes. The limit was increased internally for SQL, CBS, and VSAM/T to 999 bytes.

With Version 15.0, CA Datacom supports record-at-a-time (RAAT) commands with large keys to 999 bytes (except for the OPEN and CLOSE commands). For more information, see the CA Datacom/DB Programming Guide.

Note: CA Dataquery and the CA Datacom/DB Reporting Facility do not support RAAT long keys.
