If CA Support requests you to debug DSOP processing, they may ask you to trace various conditions using X_TRACE_DSM. The X_TRACE_DSM command traces all DSOP processing for all databases and areas. Sometimes this is what is needed; but sometimes only a single database area is needed and the trace needs to be restricted. A new console-like command has been added to restrict X_TRACE_DSM information to a single database area
The new console-like command is X_DATA_SPACE_TRACE dbid,area. It restricts the tracing to the single DBID and area names provided. If the DBID is set to 0 (with any area name), the trace is unrestricted. We recommend you do not use X_DATA_SPACE_TRACE unless directed to do so by CA Support.
