To implement the Multi-Dataset Index feature, the KEY entity-occurrence definition in Datadictionary has been enhanced by the addition of the KEY-INDEX-NAME attribute, a 3-character attribute that defaults to IXX. It can be set to IXX, or it can be set to Inn, where nn is a number from from 00 through 99. The name is used as the first 3 positions of the DDNAME for z/OS or DTFNAME for z/VSE.
