How to Use

Multi-User mode is required to execute this command. Use the following command format to transfer Log Area data to the Recovery File (RXX) with rewind instructions:

Command

SPILLREW

Invokes the function to transfer data from the Log Area (LXX) to the Recovery File (RXX) with rewind instructions.

Required Keyword

REWIND=

YES indicates the tape is to be rewound before OPEN and after CLOSE. NO indicates no rewind before OPEN or after CLOSE. NO allows the stacking of spills on one tape.
