DBTEST DBIDCPR (Index Analysis Program)

This special utility is a support tool that allows you to review an Index Area (IXX) for correctness.

It scans the Index Area (IXX) for a single database. If the Index Area (IXX) has errors, the utility snaps/dumps the Master List and terminates. If the utility finds no error, it terminates without a report, but with a good exit.

The DBIDCPR utility only scans the Index Area (IXX). It does not scan the data area, so no verification is done that the Index matches the data.
