The forward and backward recovery operations require that record location information in the database match the record location information that existed at the time the maintenance was performed. A reorganization of the database causes new record location information to be assigned. Therefore, any reorganization causes Recovery File(s) (RXX) created prior to the reorganization to be unusable.
