The accounting database that you are cataloging must be in PRODuction status in CA Datacom/DB. If not, an error results. The CATALOG option validates the accounting database before cataloging it in the PRM table. The EDIT option of accounting also performs a validation. Run EDIT before placing a database definition in PRODuction status.
