PARENT

Use the PARENT command to obtain a structure display for the parent or previous level occurrence of the substructure currently displayed in the DBMAINT and FILEMAINT Modes only. For example, when displaying a TABLE structure in DBMAINT Mode, use this command to obtain the related AREA structure display. This command is valid on a structure display panel or a field summary display panel.

If the current display is a condensed structure or a field summary, the result is a condensed structure display. A full structure display results in a full structure display.
