Installation Packages

CA DataMinder FastStart comprises three installation packages; these can be installed on a single machine or distributed over multiple machines:

Base Installation: Provides the central management components. It installs a CMS and iConsole, plus policies, searches, reports, and the CA DataMinder dashboard.
Network Boundary Agent Policy Engine: Installs a policy engine and Socket API specifically for processing events captured by the Network Boundary Agent (NBA).
File Scanning Agent: Installs the File Scanning Agent (FSA), for scanning and analyzing files saved in local and remote file systems and applying appropriate policy.
