Additional Notes

For all reports and the dashboard, note the following:

DBMS Testing

These reports have been tested using Oracle 10g and 11g and Microsoft SQL Server 2005. Reports may work with other database versions, but these have not been tested.

Note: While these reports can be used with any supported security model, they have been optimized for best performance with the default security model (based on management groups). This model uses email addresses to map participants to CA DataMinder users.

Maximum Results Rows

For performance reasons these reports default to a maximum of 1000 rows of results. To increase this limit, you will need to configure the $ROWLIMIT parameter in the report definition XML and republish the reports. For details, see the iConsole Search Definition Guide; search for '$ROWLIMIT parameter'.

If you are using an iConsole version 5.0 or later, you can increase this limit before running a report:

  1. Click the Show Hidden Parameters button
  2. Edit the Results Row Limit value.
  3. Save a 'derived' version of the report.

Be aware, however, that this method does not permit to increase the results row limit above the search 'cap' (this is the maximum number of results that can be returned by an event search; it is defined by the MaximumResultSetSize registry value). For details, see 'Capped searches' in the iConsole help.
