About Database Schema and Views

This guide contains the database table specifications used by the CA Data Protection product. It is provided to allow customers to develop additional customized database queries. To make the best use of this document, you must be familiar with relational database design and have a thorough understanding of SQL.

Schema Version

This guide is based on the database schema version 3.110 used by CA Data Protection 15.0 (build 4001 and its derivatives).

Schema Diagram

The relationships between all documented tables are shown in a separate schema diagram. You can open .html and .pdf versions of the diagram from the 'D', 'Reference', and 'Database Administrator' pages of the bookshelf.
