The host server must be running .NET Framework 3.5 or later versions.
To check the installed version of ASP.NET, run the CA Data Protection Version Check utility, wgncheck.exe. Search the output for the Microsoft .NET Framework section.
.NET Framework provides various IIS Web Service extensions required by iConsole application servers and front‑end Web servers. We recommend that .NET Framework is installed on the target server before Microsoft IIS; if this was not the case, or is not practical, you may need to manually register the necessary ASP.NET Web Service extensions—see 'Registering IIS extensions'.
