Note the following requirements for CA Data Protection Content Services.

IDOL Content Database and Connector Framework

The IDOL content database and IDOL connector framework that ship with CA Data Protection are available in the Content_IDOL.msi installation package.

Important! If you install the IDOL connector framework included with CA Data Protection, you must install it on the same server as the content indexer and content proxy server.

Content Indexer and Content Proxy Server

You can install these components on any CA Data Protection server.

These components are included in the server.msi and server_x64.msi installation packages.
