Install the FSA Remote Connector
You install the FSA Remote Connector using the CA Data Protection Integration Agents installation wizard:
To install the FSA Remote Connector
- Find setup.exe in the root of your CA Data Protection distribution image. Run setup.exe to launch the CA Data Protection installation wizard.
The Installation Type screen opens.
- Click Advanced Installation.
- In the Advanced Install Options screen, choose Server Agents and then click Install.
This launches the CA Data Protection Integration Agents installation wizard in a separate window.
- In the Integration Agents installation wizard, navigate to the Customer Setup screen.
- In the Custom Setup screen, choose the File Scanning Agent Remote Connector.
- In the final wizard screen, click Install to start the file transfer.
Note: If you install an FSA Remote Connector, you must still install the FSA itself somewhere on your network as part of your CA Data Protection enterprise.
