CA Data Protection integrates directly with CA Identity Manager r12.5 SP3 or later.
This allows you to use CA Identity Manager to maintain your CA Data Protection user accounts. This ensures that your CA Data Protection accounts are consistent with identity-based policies used by other applications that rely on CA Identity Manager for provisioning user access rights and entitlements.
After CA Identity Manager has been set up to connect to CA Data Protection, any changes to user accounts in CA Identity Manager can be imported to the corresponding CA Data Protection accounts on your CMS.
