Important! It is essential that the root certificate's private key is kept secure.
The CA Data Protection Advanced Encryption Mode Enhancement solution package contains the files and utilities that you will need to deploy CA Data Protection in Advanced Encryption mode.
We recommend that you create an \AdvancedEncryption folder on a secure server that is separate from your intended CA Data Protection enterprise and then copy the required files and utilities to this folder. This ensures that, when you generate the root certificate and Key Store, these files are saved to a location that is secure.
