If necessary, you can use the ClientLockDown.mst transform to prevent users from uninstalling CA Data Protection with the Add/Remove Programs utility. The command line syntax is shown below.

msiexec /i <Path>\client.msi TRANSFORMS=ClientLockDown.mst
