Deploy the CPSA
Before installing the CPSA, close down all applications that support printing.
To install the CPSA
- Find setup.exe in the root of your CA Data Protection distribution image. Run setup.exe to launch the CA Data Protection installation wizard.
The Installation Type screen opens.
- Click Advanced Installation.
- In the Advanced Install Options screen, choose Endpoint Agents and then click Install.
The CA Data Protection client installation wizard launches in a separate window.
- In the client installation wizard, navigate to the Customer Setup screen.
- In the Custom Setup screen, choose Print System Agent.
- In the final wizard screen, click Install to start the file transfer.
To configure the CPSA
See the following sections for full details. Briefly, you need to:
- Edit the machine policy for the host machine.
- Edit an appropriate user policy. In particular, you need to edit Data In Motion triggers and (optionally) the Print Screen Denied settings.
