How Do I Delete a Scanned File Database?
A scanned file database can only be deleted manually, by configuring the machine it is hosted on:
- Open the relevant application, according to the type of database you are running. For example, use SQL Server Management Studio for SQL Server 2005.
- In the Object Explorer, select the Database Engine that contains the database you want to delete, and connect to it.
- Browse to the actual database object location within the Databases folder structure.
- Right-click on the database name and select delete.
Note: We recommend you accept the default setting to delete the database backup.
