CA DLP popuates the data warehouse with event data as soon as possible after the BusinessObjects Integration feature or the iConsole dashboard have been installed or upgraded. Scheduled jobs to populate the data warehouse run automatically. By default, these data warehousing jobs run as background tasks every hour. Depending on the system configuration, typical processing speeds can be up to a 200,000 events in 5 minutes.
On CMSs with less than 100,000 events, CA DLP processes all events as soon as possible after installation or upgrade.
On CMSs with over 100,000 events, CA DLP processes events less than two months old as soon as possible after installation or upgrade. CA DLP then processes events older than two months by running daily off-peak data warehousing jobs. By default, these jobs to process older events run at midnight for 300 minutes, but you can reconfigure them to run when you want.
However, in all cases you can change the data warehousing job parameters and the job frequency.
