Tracking ID 586-71: IE Agent Cannot Capture Batch File Uploads To SharePoint Sites

Some browser-based operations cannot be controlled by the CA DLP Internet Explorer Agent. This can happen if a user uses Internet Explorer to browse a server via ActiveX controls and these ActiveX controls use custom mechanisms that cannot be intercepted by the Internet Explorer Agent.

For example, where Office 2007 is installed on a client machine and a user accesses a SharePoint server that allows multiple files to be uploaded in a single batch, the Internet Explorer Agent cannot apply policy to these uploaded files.
