Write to the Windows Event Log

CA DLP can copy log entries to the local Windows Application log (accessible through the Windows Event Viewer). This enables you to use third party monitoring and alerting software such as Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM) to, for example, notify your administrators when a CA DLP error occurs by forwarding the error message to pagers or sending an e‑mail alert.
